Ingredients
Pretzels - we used a bag of regular mini twists.
Oil - avocado, canola, or vegetable oil. I like avocado oil!
Cheddar cheese powder - adds the perfect cheddar flavor.
Sour cream and onion powder - paired with the cheddar cheese powder is delightful.
Supplies
- Mixing bowl - a large bowl with a tight fitting lid.
Measuring cups and spoons - measure the right amount of ingredients, of course. (Though seriously, it’s ok to wing it and follow your heart when it comes to adding seasoning!)
How to make Cheddar & Sour Cream Seasoned Pretzels
Dump the bag of pretzels in a large bowl (with a tight fitting lid).

Pour the cup of oil over the pretzels, place the lid securely on the bowl and shake the bowl to coat all the pretzels with oil.
Remove the lid and add the cheddar cheese powder and sour cream & onion powder. Put the lid back on and shake well again to coat the pretzels with seasoning.

Shake the container of seasoned pretzels about every 15 minutes for the next hour or so. (You can also use a spatula to scrape off anything stuck to the sides of the bowl before shaking!)
Enjoy.🧡

Notes
We used mini twist pretzels, but really, any small pretzels work great.
You can use any cooking oil. Avocado, canola, vegetable... I like avocado oil for its mild flavor. Would not actually recommend olive oil for this recipe, unless you love the stronger flavor.
How do you store Seasoned Pretzels?
Store the pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
We store them in the same tight container we used for mixing; though any container will work as long as it's airtight. Resealable bags, like Ziploc bags work well too.
