Pumpkin Spice Popcorn is so quick and easy to make; it’s just regular classic popcorn drizzled with a lovely homemade sweet pumpkin spice glaze.

Pumpkin spice season has rolled around again! And I’m here for it.
I made my first pumpkin spice latte of the season at home the other day and I’ve got this feeling it’s going to be on repeat!
That classic flavor of pumpkin is so cozy, so comforting, so – pumpkin. I love it.
There are lots of delicious popcorn recipes out there. Today, I had an idea. Why not make a new recipe for gourmet popcorn in honor of the season (and my favorite latte!)? Just for fun, here it is – pumpkin spice popcorn. (And it’s amazing, if I do say so myself!)
Sweet and a little salty, pumpkin spicy popcorn.
The perfect treat for a fall gathering. A fun way to treat the whole family with an easy snack on a chilly evening. (Literally, popcorn is one of our favorite snacks for evenings together with family or friends!) A great recipe for a tasty treat for a wide variety of occasions.

What sort of popcorn shall I use?
It probably goes without saying, but home popped popcorn is the best.
The easiest: Microwave Popcorn – (Full transparency here, we’ve literally just used one of those microwavable bags of popcorn already and it worked wonderfully!)
The best tasting: Oil Popped Popcorn – You can buy the popcorn kernels (preferably the Ladyfinger popcorn kernels, iykyk!) and coconut oil and pop some amazing popcorn in a popcorn popper such as the Stir Crazy Hot Oil Popcorn Popper. (This is our favorite way, but probably also the messiest way to pop popcorn!)
The healthiest: Air Popped Popcorn – An air popcorn popper is another option. Some family members of ours actually prefer the air popped popcorn over the popcorn popped in oil.
Lastly, there are bags of already popped popcorn available at the grocery store.

How to make Pumpkin Spice Popcorn
First of all, pop the popcorn if it isn’t already popped. (Remove any unpopped kernels of popcorn if you wish!)
In a small saucepan, whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice. Heat on high to medium heat for a few minutes, whisking all the while, until the sugar and spice is dissolved.

Remove the pumpkin spice glaze from the burner and add the butter. Stir until the butter is melted and incorporated.
Drizzle the glaze over the popped popcorn and stir well with a spatula or large spoon to thoroughly coat all the popcorn.

Cover the dish of glazed popcorn with a lid or plastic wrap and allow to cool for about 30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
