Supplies we used
- Cutting board and kitchen knife – to chop the potatoes
- Baking dish – we like to use this 9×13 baking sheet pan
Three Simple Ingredients

Potatoes – yellow potatoes like Yukon gold potatoes are my potato of choice for this recipe, but russet potatoes also work great, and that’s what I’m using today!
Butter – salted butter, use you favorite brand! I most times use the stuff from Aldi.
Seasoned Salt – Lawry’s seasoned salt. But really, you can use regular salt or any of your favorite seasonings instead or in addition to the seasoned salt.

There are different ways to serve baked potatoes, but here are a couple of our favorite ways to serve these baked potato halves:
As a classic side dish of baked potatoes with all the different toppings you like such as shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing, green onions, etc.

With a baked potato topper such as chili soup and cheese sauce.
