How to make MINT MEADOW TEA (a simple summer refresher!)

Mint meadow tea is a classic, Mennonite-style, refreshing summer drink! Mint is super easy to grow, and making homemade meadow tea is my favorite way to use it up!

Pick the mint.

01

If you don't grow your own mint, no worries! You can totally buy some fresh mint at the grocery store to use in this recipe!

Steep the tea.

02

Wash the mint, remove the leaves from the stems if you wish, and steep it in hot water.

After the tea has steeped, strain it through a cheesecloth (to remove any potential leaves or flakes) and into a pitcher.

03  Strain the tea.

Add sweetener to the tea and stir until it's dissolved! (We use regular white sugar, but you can use an alternative like stevia.)

03  Add sugar.

And that's it!

Fill the pitcher the rest of the way with ice water, and you're done! Enjoy a refreshing glass of homemade mint meadow tea.
